AnSol (or Anbi)
One of the most popular fake
couples out there, Andy and Solbi have won a lot of hearts together and separately. Before both
of them actually encountered one another, there was already that line of respect placed. Before
her debut, Solbi stated she was a big fan of Shinhwa, the six man group that Andy is a part of.
She’s actually accepted as the other group member’s sister-in-law, having met them all after she
became Andy’s fake wife on the popular variety show We Got Married.You can’t talk about the Korean couple without discussing the one thing that brought these two together in the first place. Andy and Solbi have both appeared on numerous variety shows together like X-man and 8vs1, but never before as a couple- not until they signed up for We Got Married.
We Got Married is a Korean variety show airing on MBC’s Sunday Sunday Night listing. Celebrities are paired together based on their personalities and similarities. These predetermined couples then come together to act as if they’re a married couple. Once every two weeks they meet up and spend the day together doing “missions” (or tasks normal newlyweds would do together) given to them by the PDs. While they’re only married once every fourteen days, the celebrities have often called WGM a “dangerous show” since it’s barely scripted and the celebrities behave as they normally would. In that process, real emotions come into the picture and they often lose sight the fact they’re not married in reality.
Solbi was a part of the We Got Married Lunar Special, a one day TV special, where she was paired with Hong Kyeongmin and was then paired off with Andy for the TV Series. Along with the Crown J and Seo In Young couple, Andy and Solbi are the longest lasting couple on the show. Both survived to see their 100th day of marriage and each of those 100 days showed tremendous progress for the couple.
Many viewers of the show have come to see Andy and Solbi as an actual couple, stepping past the boundaries of the show into a real life relationship. Andy and Solbi are not officially together. There is some hope however. Both have stated should the other initiate the relationship they could accept. What's keeping these two from being apart? During the TV show Come to Play 'We Got Married' Special Andy and Solbi stated because of their numerous activities, there would be no time for relationship matters. They also revealed their parents have accepted their other half.
For now, Andy and Solbi continue head strong on We Got Married. While they participate in various activities in their hectic schedules, at least one day every two weeks they -as well as their fans- can enjoy their time together.

As one of the two couples that have managed to maintain their relationship for every episode of We Got Married, Anbi have shared some key events that leave their fans wanting more.
Kisses
Andy and Solbi were the first couple that initiated kissing. While their first kiss was Andy pecking Solbi
on the cheek because he lost to her at pool, what surprised everyone the most was it was during their second
time meeting (episode two).
Their first lip contact was during episode 7 when Solbi, with the help of her mother, made packed lunches for
all the Shinhwa members during their last concert as a group. Solbi was originally attempting to get a piece of
food hanging out of Andy’s mouth, Shinhwa member Dong Wan pushed her from behind, thus placing her lips on his.
Their first true kiss on the lips was during their 100th day of marriage photo shoot. The photographer requested it
and Andy complied, but Solbi insisted Andy had actually kissed her chin so they did it again. Andy planted one
on her and while Solbi was satisfied, Andy was curled to the floor in laughter.
Butt Slapping
Solbi and Andy can also be known for their physical contact. They create a lot of skinship together and although
in the later episodes we see less of this, Solbi likes smacking Andy’s behind. Because these moments were during
their earlier episodes, it left Andy quite flustered.
Cooking
Cooking is kind of a big part of Andy and Solbi’s relationship. They connect a lot through the meals they
share together and that’s often when most of their deeper conversations lie. While Andy is the better cook
between the two of them, Solbi often prepares meals to help bring the two together. She often uses meals to
create events (see Rings).
Health and Family
A part of Andy’s thankfulness to Solbi comes from his own family experiences. Andy’s parents are divorced and
his mother is currently ill. Since Andy’s parents are divorced, he no longer has a united family experience.
Solbi’s parents have been featured on the show a lot as she often checks with her mom to help with her cooking.
One of the missions given to them was for Andy to meet Solbi’s parents, who accepted him as their son-in-law
(they sweetly call him An-Seobang) and gave him a very happy family environment that he missed. Solbi’s mother
even prepared a healthy soup for Andy’s mother, leaving him very thankful.
Solbi herself has been taking part of Andy’s healthy viewpoints. During Episode 19, Solbi prepared a meal for
Andy filled with healthy food to help him maintain his health. She also provided him with a massage and attempted
pressure points on his foot to help with his Bronchitis and asthma.
Rings
Andy was the first and as of this moment, the only husband to give his wife a ring. After meeting with her
parents, Andy gave Solbi a bouquet of flowers with a white gold ring attached. Solbi admitted this was her
first ring given to her, leaving her highly pleased. However, during the next episode Andy becomes suspicious
when Solbi appears without her ring and avoids commenting on it. Solbi later reveals in her private interview
that she lost his ring, leaving everyone shocked with the truth.
The next episode after that shows Andy and Solbi going to an amusement part with Andy hurt that she won’t
confront his questions about the ring. This leaves their amusement park date very bitter and Andy took his
revenge on Solbi by making her ride a roller coaster with him. Solbi is afraid of them and they sat in the
front seats, leaving her in tears and highly embarrassed by the watching pedestrians waiting for the ride.
Andy felt sorry after seeing her tears.
After returning from the amusement part, Solbi then decides to talk over some wine and snacks. She reveals
because the PDs wouldn’t let her wear the ring until the actual episode was aired, she kept it in her purse
which was stolen with her ring inside of it.
After their 100th episode, on the same day Solbi prepared a healthy meal and pampered him for the day- shockingly
the viewers can see both of them separately preparing a set of couple rings their bought without knowing the
other one had prepared one. Solbi manages to reveal her couple rings by typing them on a string strapped to
the lamp of the dinner table. Andy, stunned she’s bought couple rings, revealed his afterwards. Both of them
wore their two couple rings to the studio, revealing to everyone they were proudly wearing them.
Many viewers believe Andy and Solbi were fated for each other since they both bought couple rings without knowing
the other one had prepared one as well.
